About
Bartonville Parks is a municipal park system managed by a Park Director and volunteer park committee, featuring multiple parks across the village including Alpha Park (18+ acres with softball complex, 9-basket disc golf, basketball court, 2 pavilions, 2 playgrounds, walking trails, clubhouse), Lauterbach Park (quiet recreational area with 1-mile hiking trail, 2 pickleball courts, pavilion, playground equipment coming fall 2024), Mendenhall Boat Ramp & Park (wetlands restoration area along Illinois River with wildlife viewing opportunities), and Zeller Park (neighborhood park with small pavilion and disc golf baskets). Pavilions and clubhouse are available for rent year-round. Reservations can be made online through Bartonville RecDesk or at Village Hall. The system offers seasonal events, recreational activities for all ages, and outdoor programming throughout the year.
