Brands Park is a 5.73-acre Chicago Park District facility located at Elston and Henderson in the Avondale community. The park features a pickleball court, gymnasium, fieldhouse with clubrooms, ADA accessible playground, tennis courts, baseball fields, and football/soccer fields. Founded in the 1920s on the site of a historic German-American picnic grove, Brands Park has been serving the community for over a century. The facility offers diverse recreational programming including open play pickleball for seniors (ages 50+, free), youth after-school programs, youth instruction classes, family activities, and adult leagues. The park supervisor is Irma Rizzo. Open daily 6am-11pm with varying fieldhouse hours throughout the week.
