Overpeck County Park is Bergen County's premier recreational destination spanning 805 acres. Located in Leonia with additional areas in Palisades Park, Ridgefield Park, and Teaneck, the park offers three pickleball courts (location: Ridgefield Park Area) along with extensive recreational amenities including four lighted tennis courts, basketball, volleyball courts, athletic fields, a fitness center, 5 miles of walking and bike trails, canoe/kayak launch, children's playground, off-leash dog park area, a 3,000-seat amphitheater, and fishing areas. The park was created over 50 years ago through donations from five Bergen County municipalities. Recent capital improvement projects include wetland restoration at Teaneck Creek completed in 2022. The Bergen County Department of Parks manages the facility and requires permits for athletic field use. The Teaneck Creek Conservancy partnership provides environmental education and community programs.
