LUDINGTON AREA PICKLEBALL CLUB

About

Ludington Area Pickleball Club is a community-driven organization based in Ludington, Michigan, operating 8 well-maintained outdoor courts at Oriole Park, just three blocks from Lake Michigan and Stearns Park Beach. The club offers year-round programming including seasonal outdoor play (May-October with nets available April-November), comprehensive indoor play opportunities at WSCC and St. John's Lutheran Church during fall/winter months, drop-in play, challenge court competition, open play, leagues, round robins, beginner lessons, and tournaments. For just $30 annually, members gain access to the Pickleball Den sign-up system, dedicated indoor play times with a structured registration process (3-slot Sunday limit with enforcement policies), and a supportive community of players of all skill levels. The club emphasizes inclusivity and fair access to court time, operates a rotation-based open play system, provides complimentary pickleballs during outdoor play, and volunteers maintain facility access and bathroom amenities. The organization also partners with local businesses and libraries to grow the sport, offering paddle borrowing through the Mason County District Library and special partnerships with Pickleball Central.
