About
That former port warehouse is being converted to a pickleball venue that will feature 10 first-class inside courts. It's part of Portside Pickle, where Matthews is "Head Pickler in Charge." Though the indoor courts will not be ready for play in 2025, Portside Pickle has already opened three premium outdoor courts just south of the warehouse, and five more outside courts should be ready for play by the end of the year. Portside Pickle also has a pro shop offering top gear, and a snack shop and offers lessons for all levels. Though there are fees to play, first-time players will receive a free group clinic, though registration is required.
