About
Located centrally in Plano, Pickleball Kingdom Plano positions itself as a sanctuary from the elements, designed to solve the biggest problem facing the sport: consistency. The facility operates with the philosophy that players should be able to enjoy the game year-round, regardless of rain, wind, or the blistering Texas sun. Unlike a recreation center where you might share space with basketball hoops, this is a dedicated facility. The vibe is a mix of high-energy athletics and a social lounge, making it a popular spot for both serious drillers and casual social groups. The courts feature a professional outdoor-style acrylic coating over a cushioned base that provides grit and spin while protecting joints. The facility features indirect LED lighting designed to minimize glare and aggressive climate control. Programs include Pickleball 101 classes for beginners, structured open play organized by skill level using color-coded systems or DUPR ratings, and private and group lessons from certified pros. Amenities include a pro shop for equipment demos, full locker rooms with showers, and a lounge area with snacks and beverages fostering a country club social environment.
