TENNIS NATION RACQUET SPORTS
About
The Reno Tennis Center is a public, community-focused racquet sports facility operated by Tennis Nation Racquet Sports in partnership with the City of Reno. Located at 2601 Plumas Street adjacent to the Washoe County Golf Course, the facility features 10 outdoor tennis courts (6 lighted) and 24 pickleball courts (12 lighted), plus a hitting wall, 3 Playmate tennis ball machines, and 2 Lobster pickleball machines (free for members). The facility is designed for accessibility and inclusivity, welcoming players of all ages and abilities—from beginners to competitive athletes—without requiring membership to play. A full-service pro shop onsite provides racquets, paddles, balls, shoes, apparel, and stringing services. Loaner equipment and demo gear are available for newcomers. Court reservations are managed through CourtReserve online booking or at the front desk. The facility supports open play, leagues, tournaments, clinics, and structured coaching programs through an onsite professional instruction team. Spectator seating, front desk services, and on-court player seating enhance the experience. The facility emphasizes community, accessibility, and removing barriers to racquet sports participation.
