Wapelhorst Park is a 78-acre public park in St. Charles, Missouri featuring 2 outdoor tennis/pickleball courts along with diverse recreational amenities. The park offers both active recreation through its four artificial turf athletic fields, 2 batting cages, 2 soccer fields, and sand volleyball courts, as well as passive recreation opportunities including a small fishing lake with paved trail, interpretative nature trail, wildflower area, and picnic areas. Additional facilities include a playground, aquatic center with speed slide, George Gould Community Building, 3 picnic shelters, concession stand, and paved hike/bike trails. The park operates year-round with seasonal hours (dawn to midnight April-November, dawn to 10 PM November-March). No online booking system; courts are available on a walk-in, first-come basis.
