MARKHAM PICKLEBALL · 19 COURTS
About
The City of Markham offers free public pickleball access across multiple outdoor court locations throughout the city. The flagship facility is the brand-new 8-court outdoor pickleball complex at Cornell Community Park, featuring courts 1-4 with standard lighting and courts 5-8 with extended evening hours. Markham also maintains pickleball courts at nine additional parks including Bayview Reservoir Park, Duncan Park, Morgan Park, and Markham Civic Centre. Courts operate on a first-come, first-served basis using a Next Up rotation board when all courts are full. Public play is free during designated hours. The city partners with the Markham Pickleball Club (MPC), an affiliated organization of Pickleball Ontario and Pickleball Canada, to provide instructional programs, clinics, competitive leagues, and host tournaments. Shirts and appropriate non-marking court shoes are required. Private lessons are only permitted when conducted by MPC instructors in partnership with the city. All players use the court at their own risk and must adhere to community conduct guidelines prohibiting yelling, foul language, and non-pickleball activities.
