NAS Patuxent River Drill Hall is an indoor recreation facility offering 24/7 access for authorized military personnel and dependents. The facility features two standard basketball courts, one NCAA regulation basketball court, one full-sized regulation volleyball court, two full-sized regulation racquetball courts, and a temporary pickleball court on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional amenities include an indoor pool, saunas, comprehensive fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, strength machines, free weights), a family fitness room with equipment suitable for all ages, and separate infant/toddler play areas. The facility offers free group fitness classes for military personnel and dependents, including Yoga Fusion, Mission FIT, Moms (and Dads) on the Move, and HIIT the Erg. Access is free for Active Duty, Reserve, Retired Military, and DoW Civilians. Contractors must purchase memberships ($250 for six months or $500 annually). The facility is staffed 5 AM-8:30 PM weekdays and has extended unstaffed access with prior registration. Personal training services are available.
