SOUTH VENICE CIVIC ASSOCIATION (SVCA)
About
South Venice Civic Association (SVCA) is a trusted community organization serving South Venice since 1955. The facility operates four outdoor pickleball courts exclusively for SVCA members. The courts are open for member play, with access requiring membership, waiver signature, and gate lock code setup at the office. The SVCA serves as a community voice on local issues including code enforcement, zoning, and infrastructure maintenance. Membership provides access to a vibrant calendar of cultural, educational, and social programs including watercolor classes, Jazzercise, dinner dances, art shows, and seasonal celebrations. The facility is managed by an active pickleball committee and community volunteers. The association is currently fundraising for phase two of the pickleball project, which includes landscaping renovation, benches, and new pathway installation.
