Vernon Worthen Park is an 8-acre community park in the heart of St. George, adjacent to the St. George Leisure Services Recreation Center. The facility features six newly renovated lighted pickleball courts (converted from tennis courts), three lighted sand volleyball courts, a gazebo, four picnic areas, children's playground with swings, restroom facilities, and ADA accessibility. The park hosts city-sponsored events including Summer Concerts, the St. George Marathon Finish Line, and various recreation tournaments and seasonal festivals. The facility offers reservable amenities including covered pavilions, BBQ grills, drinking fountains, electric outlets, and parking. No reservations are available the weekend of Marathon.
