Cub Creek Park is a 203-acre public park in Wilkesboro, NC operated by the Parks & Recreation Department. The park features 8 pickleball courts (6 constructed in 2021, 2 resurfaced in 2022) available for open play on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional recreational amenities include 2 tennis courts with lessons available, 3 basketball courts, 3 walking tracks, 6 baseball fields, 2 batting cages, picnic shelters and tables, restrooms, fishing areas in the hatchery-supported trout creek, dog park, and mountain bike trails. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. No reservations are required or accepted for court or facility use. The park is well-maintained and popular with families for walking, fishing, picnicking, and recreation.
