Charter Organizer terms

Version: charter-v1.0

Plain-English summary: Charter Organizers are the first ten admins who run their group through dink.one and shape what gets built next. In exchange, we waive our operator-tier platform fees for a full year from the day you accept. Stripe processing fees still apply. If your group goes quiet for a sustained period or the platform is misused, we may end the waiver early. The binding text follows.

1. Who this is for

"Charter Organizer" means an admin or owner of a club on dink.one who is one of the first ten admins to accept these terms during the Founding Season, has accepted these terms via the in-app clickwrap, and actively operates a real pickleball group through the platform.

The Charter Organizer designation attaches to a single club entity on dink.one. One human can hold the designation across multiple clubs only if each club has independently accepted these terms.

2. What the year-one fee waiver covers

The waiver covers:

  • dink.one operator-tier platform fees on bookings, registrations, and other money flows attributable to the Charter club for 12 months from charter_organizer_accepted_at, the timestamp recorded when you accept these terms.
  • Anything else the dink.one team would otherwise charge a paying operator on the equivalent tier during the same window.

The waiver does not cover:

  • Stripe processing fees, interchange, or any third-party payment-rail costs. Those continue to apply on every transaction.
  • Costs from connected services such as SMS gateways and mapping providers that dink.one passes through at cost.
  • Anything outside the Charter club, such as a separate club you operate that has not been Charter-designated.

3. Term

The waiver begins on charter_organizer_accepted_at and runs for 12 calendar months. After the term ends, the club moves to the standard operator tier its plan corresponds to, per Terms of Service and the published subscription tiers. There is no automatic renewal of the waiver.

4. What we ask in return

Charter Organizers agree to:

  • Run at least one real recurring activity such as an event, league, ladder, or open play for their group through dink.one within 60 days of accepting these terms.
  • Be reachable for the founding-season weekly check-in, about 15 minutes, for the first month and reasonably available for product feedback after that.
  • Use dink.one as the primary place where the group scheduling, RSVPs, ratings, and announcements live during the waiver term.
  • Not misuse the platform: no spam to imported member lists, no circumventing the platform fee with off-platform side payments, and no misrepresenting the group real activity.

5. How the waiver ends early

We end the waiver early, and the club moves to its underlying paid tier, if any of these happen:

  • Inactivity. The club records no real activity, such as no event, no game, and no admin login, for 90 consecutive days.
  • Documented misuse. Spam, fraud, chargebacks at scale, off-platform fee circumvention, or any conduct that violates the dink.one Terms of Service.
  • Voluntary opt-out. An admin of the club asks us to end the Charter designation in writing.

Where possible we will give 14 days notice and a chance to cure before ending the waiver early. Notice goes to the email on the club primary admin account.

6. No guarantee of future pricing

The Charter waiver is a year-one benefit only. We make no representation about what dink.one operator pricing will be after the term ends, and we will not be obligated to offer any specific renewal price.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands, where dink.one (dink.one Ltd.) is incorporated, without reference to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are resolved per the dink.one Terms of Service.

By accepting in-app, you confirm you have read these terms and agree to them on behalf of the club you administer. The version slug shown above is recorded with your acceptance; if these terms are later revised, your existing waiver continues to reference the version you originally accepted.
