For team captains

Captaining, minus the chasing

You volunteered to pick a squad, not to spend three weeks asking eight adults for money. Your roster pays itself in, your line-up notifies itself, and one list tells you what is genuinely waiting on you.

Claim your team

The bits nobody warned you about

  • Three weeks of asking the same four people for the entry fee, and covering the gap yourself when the deadline lands.

Every member sees what they owe and pays their own share. You can send a reminder from the row, or settle for someone who will not — and if you do, it is recorded as yours rather than quietly forgotten.

  • Nine replies in the group chat, four of them ambiguous, and you still do not know if you have six on Tuesday.

People mark themselves available. Your roster sorts by who is free, and warns you before you commit a squad that is a player short.

  • Posting the line-up in the chat, then answering the same three questions about where and when.

Commit the squad and everyone selected is told, with the time and the place. Change it and they are told again.

  • Arguing on Thursday about what the score was on Tuesday.

One captain enters the sets, the other confirms. If nobody objects it settles on its own, so the table is never waiting on a busy week.

What is actually real

Each links to the page that explains it. The status badges come from the same source the help centre reads, so they cannot disagree.

How you would start

  1. Claim your team in the league you are entering.
  2. Invite everyone, generously. Inactive members cost you nothing.
  3. Share the balance link and let people pay their own share.
  4. Set week one squads and commit. That is the rhythm from there.

Captaining is a favour you are doing everyone

It should cost you a few minutes a week, not your Sunday evening. Nothing here costs a captain anything — the league operator pays, and only on what they collect.
