Terms of Service
Last updated: March 23, 2026
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using dink.one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
What dink.one provides
dink.one is a pickleball platform for tracking ratings, logging matches, finding courts, joining clubs, booking courts, and connecting with other players. We provide the software; you provide the pickleball.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person — do not create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or circumvent suspensions.
Rating system
dink.one uses the Cayman Rating Protocol to calculate player ratings from match results. Ratings are algorithmic estimates of relative skill and are not guaranteed to be perfectly accurate. Ratings may change based on match results, partner performance, and opponent strength. You should not rely on your dink.one rating for professional, employment, or official competitive purposes.
Fair play and integrity
Players must report scores accurately and honestly. The following are prohibited and may result in account suspension or permanent ban:
- Deliberately losing matches to lower your rating (sandbagging)
- Colluding with other players to manipulate ratings
- Submitting false or fabricated match scores
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other players through the platform
- Using the platform to facilitate gambling or illegal activity
Our integrity system monitors for anomalous patterns. We will contact you before taking action unless the violation is severe.
Club operators
If you manage a club or facility on dink.one, you are responsible for your club's compliance with local laws, including member data handling, court safety, and payment processing. You must not misuse member data accessed through the platform. Club operators agree to our standard data processing terms when activating the Clubhouse features.
Payments
Court bookings and coaching sessions may involve payments processed through Stripe. dink.one facilitates but does not process payments directly. Refund policies are set by individual clubs and facilities. Disputes should be directed to the facility first, then to us if unresolved.
Content and intellectual property
dink.one owns the platform, software, design system, rating algorithms, and brand. You retain ownership of content you create (profile information, messages, uploaded photos). By posting content on dink.one, you grant us a license to display it within the platform. We will never use your content for advertising without explicit consent.
Limitation of liability
dink.one is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the platform reliable and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect rating accuracy, or that all features will be available at all times. We are not liable for injuries sustained during pickleball play, disputes between players, or decisions made based on ratings or AI recommendations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (which for most players is zero — the platform is free for players).
Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly for integrity violations. Suspended users will be notified with a reason and may appeal by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data is anonymized within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands. Any disputes arising from the use of dink.one shall be resolved in the courts of the Cayman Islands.
