Running a club or facility

Set up your facility

Getting your place listed properly, and what is worth filling in.

Works today

Your facility may already be listed — most are, from public data. Claiming it is faster than creating a second one, and avoids a duplicate confusing everyone.

Setting it up

  1. Search for it first and claim it. Only add a new one if it genuinely is not there.
  2. List what you actually have. Numbering matters more than you would think — people use it to find each other.
  3. Set your hours. This is the single most-read thing on the page.
  4. Add photos. A listing with none gets visited less, and a phone photo is fine.

Worth the extra ten minutes

  • Amenities — lights, shade, water, parking. These decide where people go in July.
  • Policies, so you are not answering the same question every week.
  • Open play times, which is what most visitors are actually looking for.

Common questions

It is already listed and the details are wrong.

Claim it and fix them. Public listings come from open data and go stale — claiming is how they get accurate.

We have several sites.

Set each up separately and manage them from one account. Your subscription covers all of them.

Our hours change with the season.

Update them when they change. Wrong hours are worse than vague ones — someone drives over for nothing.
