Get listed and take bookings
Setting up a coach profile, and exactly when a student's card gets charged.
Works today
Anyone with a player profile can coach here. There's no separate account to create — you add coaching to the profile you already have.
Getting listed
- Start the become-a-coach flow from the manage menu.
- Set your specialties. This is what students filter on, so be specific rather than broad.
- Set your availability, in person or online. Students book against real slots, not a contact form.
- Set your rate. You can change it whenever you like; existing bookings keep the rate they were made at.
How the money works
- When a student requests a session, their card is authorized — the money is held, not taken.
- It's captured when you approve. That's the moment you're actually paid.
- If you decline, or let it expire, the hold is released and they're charged nothing.
- Counter with a lower price and we capture only that amount. Counter higher and the student re-authorizes at the new price — we can't take more than they agreed to.
Common questions
A student didn't turn up.
You were already paid at approval, so nothing is clawed back. Cancellation terms are yours to set and are shown before booking.
Can I change my rate?
Any time. Bookings already made keep the price they were agreed at.
Can I coach out of a club or facility?
Yes. A club can invite you as an affiliated coach, and any revenue split is a commercial matter between you and them — we provide the rails, we don't set the terms.
